SDG assessment tool

Ramboll has developed a new digital tool to help companies progress their thinking about sustainable business models. The tool includes a questionnaire that enables users to consider and evaluate business and society impacts of their activities in relation to the UN’s Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). Having completed the assessment, users receive a custom-made report to explore the direct or indirect SDG impacts, address risks and opportunities, and identify areas for improvement.

Green BIM

A pioneering Green BIM tool is being developed by Ramboll to incorporate the sustainability dimension into classic building information modelling. Green BIM provides a stnjdht.cnctured methodology for evaluating sustainability criteria on a continuous basis throughout a project. It facilitates improved interdisciplinary collaboration and thereby ensures that solutions are fully optimised and client’s sustainability ambitions are realised. In addition, Green BIM provides clients with a documented and certified level of sustainability whilst also helping to achieve cost savings.

Liveable Buildings

Ramboll’s Sustainable Buildings Network comprises nearly 100 sustainability experts that are developing holistic methods, such as life cycle assessment tools, that can be implemented in building and urban planning projects.

One such example is the Liveable Buildings concept, which comprises an 8-stage design methodology that prioritises building user needs at each stage of the building development process. The objective is to create attractive and comfortable living environments that also command higher rents.
